Then again, deciding what NOT to do is a critical step on the path to focus. I'd regard a statement like that as a positive.

both valid points, but perhaps the humor in this is a little too SAP-centric for widespread appreciation.
As I commented in the meeting in question yesterday, "gee, I'm going to make a plan of all the things I'm not going to do next year as well."
