Just call it a "web feed" and then you'll never have to apologize to the non-RSS crowd. And... as an added bonus... you won't have to listen to me complain about calling something RSS when it's not really RSS.

BTW, I get my Gmail via a "POP3 feed" in Microsoft Outlook Express, with none of that messy Blogoshere aggregator cruft needed. Now who really cares what the specific protocol or message format really is?

Rest assured, some day I will con you guys into using a coherent terminology. Not soon, but some day.

Actually, my original post was talking about reading RSS feeds in Outlook.

RMail/Using RSS as an email notification, is something entirely different (and certainly more useful).
