I'm liking this one already... Chris starts by saying "companies are using blogs to commuincate internally and with customers"
A blogging appliance. It's a rack mounted device. Guess that's a first.
oh crikey, they are putting approval workflows on blog posts. It's the beginning of the end. At least it's an optional feature.
and what enterprise deal isn't complete without a regulatory compliance angle.
The features they have for merging content is really nice, I can see alot of value in that for enterprise customers.
I'll post a pic of this later when I go to the Demo pavilion.
By the way, when I was in the demo pavilion I couldn't help but notice that Ben and Mena Trott were checking this out pretty closely.
We have had a blogging appliance for a year now.

True, but allow me to expand a little. The Blog Unit (as they call it) is a rack mounted Linux box that not only enables blog creation and management, but includes a security overlay, the aforementioned workflow approvals, and content integration to existing marketing content systems. The company WhatNow is an email marketing technology provider, they said they have about 150 clients using their email systems. So it's not just about blogging that this box is about, it's targeting marketing driven corporate blog management, and integrated cross-blog content management.
