Today is 1-3-05, all prime numbers and the sum is a prime number as well (that'll teach me for doing math in the am after a long week off!). What does that mean? Absolutely nothing, but I thought about it in the shower this morning and wanted to share.
My resolutions for 2005 are as follows:
1) be more responsive to emails and voicemail. I get a tremendous volume of messages and I am the first to admit that I am not nearly as good at getting back to people as I should be. It's a work in progress, no easy fix.
2) more comprehensive fund reporting. This is an "inside-baseball" thing related to the amount of information and commentary on our investments.
3) write more original content for the blog, among other blog changes I am thinking about. From a statistical (traffic levels) and anecdotal (comments) perspective, my blog has been satisfying but it's also getting a little tired and I need to change it. I will not change the basic model, the link-and-comment style because it works and it's largely how I get through my daily reading material. I was thinking of spending more time on private company fundings, perhaps opening up the database of private company fundings that I've been maintaining. I think I'll come up with a brand name as well.
that's it, a pretty straightforward list of resolutions. Very achievable.
Excellent blog, but the sum of 01-03-05 is not prime since it is divisble by 3. Excellent post(s) nevertheless.
