I typically don't even bother looking at other retailers, Newegg.com has not only the best prices on everything but great service and a large community of customers. This company is a great example of how to succeed in a hyper price sensitive market, but it is still astonishing that they are doing a billion dollars in year in sales.

"DIY MARKET." Without attracting much attention, the online retailer, based in City of Industry, Calif., recorded sales of $980 million in 2004 and is on a run-rate to break $1.3 billion in 2005. It will likely go public in late 2006 or early 2007, says its co-founder and vice-president and Howard Tong (the chairman and CEO, Fred Chang, doesn't do interviews).

I have been a satisfied New Egg customer for some time, particularly on high end products. In the rare instances NE makes an error, they remedy it ASAP with no back talk.
