This is EXACTLY how I feel about my own blogging. People will often email me suggesting that I write more than just link but the simple fact is that often my thoughts on something I read are summed up in a sentence, or possibly even just a sentence fragment. My point is not to summarize someone else's work or reinterpret it but to get anyone who is interested to read it for themselves. Yeah, I enjoy pounding out a 1,000 words on some topic, but to do so with any frequency would not be possible in the time I have to do this, plus the things I blog about are the things I read anyways.
