XFire

Saw this company last year as well, instant messaging for online gaming if I recall correctly. I think the thing that was really eye opening for me when I met them last year was learning how big the online gaming market is. The trend continues, xFire has 1 million users online today.

Average use is 60 hours per month per user... if I heard him correctly. This reinforces the value of these networks for product placements and advertising.

I've downloaded games from their p2p network, it's neat. I wish I had more time to get into online gaming. The download service offers a lot of growth opportunities for the company given the large file sizes of download and the frequent patches.

(yeah, it's a crappy picture, I'm still learning how to take good pics with my camera phone)
