combine social networking, file sharing, blogs, photo sharing, IM, and a few other things and you have this company. The app is actually pretty cool.
I gather that the objective of this app is to take IM and build on all the other things that connected people do, without restricting you to whatever IM client you are using.
The search functions that are integrated with Imeem integrate well with straight up content on the web.
