- I'm a little disappointed in Google for going after "small guys" who have names similar to Google. First was the formal complaint they filed with the Trademark office about Googles, the toy company, despite the documented fact that Googles had their trademark first. Next came the attempt by Google to shutdown Froogles.com, a shopping site that was started by a disabled NY carpenter, and yes it too predates Google's own Froogle service. There is behavior that is protective of trademarks, and then there is behavior that is predatory... Google's action fall into the latter.

- it was only a matter of time before Hollywood figured out that TiVo users could start sending digital copies of their programming to other devices, first by hacking the device and then by features built into the next gen version... one would think that the disaster at the RIAA would have been studied a little more closely by the MPAA.
