- Salesnet, a provider of online customer relationship management software, completed a $10 million in fourth-round financing. Phoenix Investment Partners, Prism Venture Partners, and WestAM participated in the round.
- NeoPath Networks, a provider of file management software, said that it has raised $6 million in Series A financing.
- Tell-Eureka, a provider of automation software for call centers, said that it has raised $2 million in Series B.
- Relativity Technologies, a provider of legacy modernization software and services, secured a $6.5 million fifth round of financing. The round included investment from Intel Capital, Noro-Moseley Partners, Tall Oaks Capital Partners, Wakefield Group, and Wachovia Strategic Ventures Group.

- Dave Winer is proposing to merge RSS and Atom, but in reading his proposal outline it appears that what he wants is for Atom to support RSS data formats. The low-volume battle that has been simmering in the blogging community over Atom and RSS doesn't appear to be going away.
